Raena Morgan: Could you tell us about Sytrinol, what it is, what it does?

Lorna Vanderhaeghe: Whenever we have a research backed nutrient, this excites me, because I love to talk about nutrients that have science,-

RM: Good.

LV: -because then when we talk in our doctor’s office they’re not saying to us “oh, that’s quackery.” So we know with Sytrinol, it’s a very effective cholesterol lowering agent, and it not only lowers total cholesterol by about thirty percent in thirty days,-

RM: Wow.

LV: -but it also lowers triglycerides by about thirty-four percent in thirty days, twenty-seven percent reduction in bad cholesterol, and about a four percent increase in good healthy cholesterol. And this is a natural remedy that comes from citrus flavones, and most of us think about flavones in regards to what we see in the peel of oranges and grapefruits and lemons, and then palm tocotrienols. And the beauty of Sytrinol as well is that they get their tocotrienols from Malaysia where they have a sustainable palm farming facility, so we know that the palm is no being destroyed in the production. So you have this wonderful, natural remedy that can lower cholesterol by thirty percent in thirty days with absolutely no diet change.

RM: No diet change?

LV: No diet change, which, you know, people love that because they still want to eat their bad foods. Of course if you also change your diet, you’re going to get even better effects. And Sytrinol also lowers CRP, and CRP is that C-reactive protein that is involved in the inflammatory process.

RM: So the science is there on this?

LV: The science is there. And one thing that people also have to understand is it’s not just only about high cholesterol and high blood pressure, because we know that fifty percent of people who have a heart attack have perfectly normal blood pressure and perfectly normal cholesterol.

RM: Fifty percent?

LV: Fifty percent. This is the guy who goes and gets his heart checked and they doctor says “oh you have a heart of a twenty-five year old,” and he walks out of the office and drops dead of a heart attack on the sidewalk. And we know that CRP is associated with this, so the fact that Sytrinol can lower CRP back down to nice normal levels is also a very important factor of this wonderful heart nutrient.

RM: And it’s natural.

LV: It’s natural, yes, but it’s natural with science, and that’s really what we want. Natural with science is always the best. And the studies are ongoing, they’re excellent.

RM: There’s no side effects?

LV: There’s no side effects. So if you’re somebody who’s currently on statin drugs right now and you want to get off, mainly because they’re so expensive and they have a lot of risks associated with them,-

RM: They do.

LV: -then go on the Sytrinol with your statin medications. Thirty days after you have been on the Sytrinol, then you stop taking your statins with your doctor’s advice and monitor your cholesterol, and I think you’ll be very happy.
