A native of Yonkers, NY, Dr. Fuhrman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Dr. Fuhrman is a former world-class figure skater, placing second in the US National Pairs Championships in 1973 and third in the 1976 World Professional Pairs Skating Championship. Dr. Fuhrman has been involved with sports since, advising professional and Olympic athletes and lecturing to trainers and athletes about performance and preventing injury.
Dr. Fuhrman is the author of six New York Times bestsellers. His most recent books include Fast Food Genocide and Eat to Live Quick & Easy Cookbook.
