Mr. Jonathan Emord practices food and drug law, deceptive advertising law and libel law.
Mr. Emord earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Illinois in 1982. He earned a law degree (J.D.) from DePaul University in 1985.
Since 1985, Mr. Emord has been practicint constitutional and administrative law, starting as an attorney in the FCC during the Reagan administration.
Mr. Emord served as lead counsel in a number of well known cases against the Food and Drug Administration, including Pearson v. Shalala (D.C. Cir. 1999); Pearson v. Thompson (D.D.C. 2001); and Alliance for Natural Health v. Sebelius (D.D.C. 2010).
Mr. Emord is also author of a number of critically acclaimed books and is the American Justice columnist for USA Today Magazine.
