Interviewer: When it comes to nutrition, how does that apply to cancer, referring to another one of your books. We don't seem much closer to a less invasive treatment or form of treatment or form of treatment then 10, 20, 30, years ago despite all the research. Why is that still a growing problem?
Dr. Murray: I think we are getting closer, even in conventional medicine, there's a whole new field of immuno-therapy that's becoming more popular. There was a break, oh probably now, probably 30 to 50 years ago, where they really started looking at asking the question, are we going down the right path here with chemo and radiation and many people started realizing that, you know, there may be a better approach. And so that's led to the development of more immunological based therapies and I think we're going to see more of that. And I think nature is going to play a huge role in that. I think the best of nature has yet to be seen in health food stores and on the marketplace. There are a lot of interesting products that are in development and coming out. And there are some old products that are being rediscovered for new uses. So, it's a very dynamic field. But, in regards to cancer, I do think that the important steps are being taken. Sometimes we don't see them out in the world yet but there is research that's being done. It's kind of like watching bamboo grow sometimes. You know? Bamboo is like, it doesn't grow for many, many, many years and all of the sudden, it grows like crazy, you know. So, we're almost there, I think we're going to see a lot of new therapies for cancer in the very short future.
