Use The Body's Symptoms For Healing
Interviewer: You talk about the lifeline technique. It's something that you employ. Can you explain exactly what that is and how it works?
Dr. Darren Weissman: The lifeline technique is a system that I developed in 2002. And it is a compilation of 16 different systems all into one.
Dr. Darren Weissman: And it's called the lifeline. And as a result of being a doctor of chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathy, studying all kinds of natural healing modalities that evoke our body's natural potential for healing. I always thought to myself, I'm like, there's got to be a way to bridge all these different kinds of systems into one system. Because I go to one person and I find out this information. I go to another person, I find out this information. And you know, what's right? I'm getting more confused in today's day and age rather than being more clear.
Dr. Darren Weissman: The lifeline helps to integrate so that in the present moment the lifeline is a lifeline. It helps us look at symptoms rather than as a problem, as a portal. Stress rather than as a failure, a feedback. And it's the flow chart which is literally a blue print of the mind. And it using muscle testing, muscle reflex testing as a means to communicate with the subconscious mind. And this hand mudra. And rather than in Hawaii where it's like wiki wiki, hang ten. No, in American Sign Language this means I love you. It means I love you. And it's really about really learning how to love ourselves. You know, what's wild about it is it helps to shift reaction, whether it be reactive patterns of the body, reactive thoughts, reactive behaviors into actions. And it's a simple system that instantly bypasses what we think is wrong with us and helps us to evoke a whole other potential of just feeling good in the present moment and recognizing the options that we have.
