Dr. Rizan Hajal received his medical degree from St. Joseph Univeristy – School of Medicin in Beirut, Lebanon in 1995. After graduation, he acquired medical licensure in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. Dr. Hajal is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine.
Dr. Hajal is currently the Director of the Sioux Falls Sleep Center in Sioux Falls, SD. After practicing medicine in Sioux Falls, Dr. Hajal joined Precision Diagnostic Services, Inc. (PDS) and the North Dakota Center for Sleep, both are based in Fargo, ND. Since 2002, Dr. Hajal has ben an assistant professor for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Dakota – School of Medicine in Sioux Falls, SD.
Dr. Hajal has a long list of research accomplishments, including being the co- and lead investigator on several studies on insomnia.
