Dr. Winkler spent four years in the Air Force after his medical training. There he was Cheif of the Primary Care Clinic at Kl Sawyer AFB in Michigan.
After his service in the Air Force, Dr. Winkler went into private practice and then started an eight year career in Homecare, making over 12,000 house calls to homebound patients in the San Diego, CA area.
