How to Tone Muscle and Lose Weight!

Dr. Bob DeMaria: Hello, my name is Dr. Bob DeMaria, the Drugless Doctor, and ladies, I want to talk to you a moment and men, you can listen also. There's two or three areas that women are always concerned about. Muscles, toned muscles. That flabby muscle underneath your arm, I call them happy helens. I'm not sure how many of you are happy with your helens right now, but you really need to think and create an action plan for exercise. I want you to know I exercise quite consistently. I'd like you to get yourself some bands. You can go and do a search on what kind of band exercise you can do. Bands are a non stressful way to tone up muscles. You don't even have to go to a gym, you can do this in the comfort of your own home or your apartment. You want to start doing some light weights. Weights are going to help tone muscle and burn extra calories in your body. Its has been suggested that exercise helps facilitate function of your body for four or five hours after the exercise. You know how you get done and your sweating and your tired and your exhausted? You should be celebrating because your muscles are burning up those extra calories.

Last thought ladies. Weight loss. I know right now, women always seem to need to lose 10 or 20 pounds and I know some of you might want to consider losing more than that, but let me give you some simple tips. I want you to get a piece of paper out now and I want you to start writing down everything you eat. Whatever you put in your body, every day. I want you to do that for a week. And I want you to go back and start circling foods that are high calories. And if you are consuming a lot of nuts, a lot of sugar, pastries and cookies, I want you to start becoming aware of how many calories you are putting in your body every day. You know, I've lost over 30 pounds over the last 12-24 months. It was really simple. I became calorie conscious, that's all I did. And I'm doctor Bob! And I just eliminated healthy, high dense calorie foods. And I'm going to tell you right now, it will make a huge difference. Exercise and drink your water!

Let me give you some Doctor Bob Drugless action steps to help you right now. Exercise. You want to get yourself a buddy. You want to have someone you can exercise with. Even if it's your dog, that you can go jogging with, on a regular basis, maybe 5 or 6 days every week. Even bounce on a ball, just to get exercise. That's number one. Number two. What I want you to do, I want you to start writing down everything you eat. And start evaluating the amount of calories. And I want to tell you something that is really simple ladies that will make a huge difference in your life. Drink more water. Water is nature's purifier.
