Mr. James L. Wilson coined the term 'adrenal fatigue' in 1998 to help identify below optimal adrenal function and to distinguish it from other adrenal-related diseases.
Dr. Wilson received his Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Arizona. He also has a doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and the Ontario College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Dr. Wilson spent more than 25 years in private practice in both Canada and the United States.
Dr. Wilson's book Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome, has sold over 200,000 copies and he continues to be a sought after lecturer and consultant in the medical and alternative healthcare communities around the world.
